a Breton out of “Tough Luck Lester”. Ask Dad why he calls her that, it’s too long to type. On another note, she’s the granddaughter of 7105, one of our favorite cows. This cow line has loads of longevity and maternal goodness. This heifer has a WWR of 109. Dad really wanted to keep her, “but you can’t keep ‘em all!”

Last of the Lodi’s. “Boy, she’s a pretty heifer.” Her dam, 754, has produced a lot of good daughters for us. Great udder. CI of 6@364. “What else should I write, Dad?” “I don’t know, she’s just a damn nice heifer!”

Lot 39- Barbara of Volga 2323

Out of a 1090# first calf heifer, this little girl has a great line behind her. “How many times have we used the word wedgie?” “A lot.” “Well, what’s one more time?!” Okay, this heifer is wedgie!

Lot 40- Margaret of Volga 2363

We have used Master Stoke on our heifers for the last two years, and we are loving the results. Her dam, an EXT of Volga daughter, has a great udder and we expect her daughter to have one too. WWR of 106 and YWR of 102.

Lot 41- Margaret of Volga 2365

View on American Angus Association

Just looking at her pedigree, you can’t miss. Nothing but great cows and bulls on the top and bottom. This fun female has loads of potential!

Lot 42- Lucy of Volga 2321

View on American Angus Association

The only reason Dad put her on the sale was because “he thought he should share some greatness.” She goes back to 685, the grandma cow on the farm that has a bull on the sale, Lot 18. Laxton is a heifer bull we purchased from WYE in 2022. Her dam is a smaller framed first calf heifer, that we expect 16 more calves out of (like 685), so we will share her first heifer with you!
